What and where did you study before your Mountbatten internship?
I went to Bath University, where I studied International Management & German

What made you apply for the Mountbatten program?
I had always wanted to work overseas.

Describe your sponsor company and your role within it.
I was placed at Citi Private Bank, working in Professional Development. I specialised in organising training programs for bankers.

What was the highlight/most memorable moment of your working experience during this year? Working with one of America's most prominent management coaches.

What was the social highlight/most memorable moment during this year?
Christmas in the Catskills mountains in a log cabin with outdoor jacuzzi!

Please share a little wisdom/philosophy that you acquired during your internship
"Kill 'em with kindness" is a phrase I picked up whilst in NYC. If anyone is rude or unkind to you, it's incredibly difficult for them to maintain that position… extreme kindness is very effective at deflecting animosity.

If you could change anything about your internship, what would it be?
I could have definitely done another year!

What happened after completing the year - what did you do next?
I returned to London and got a job in finance.

Where are you now in your working life and what do you do?
I have been living and working in Seoul, Korea since 2010, and I setup my own company 3 years ago doing HR Consulting (http://rdiuk.com/). We help global companies to perform better by enhancing their overall HR Management from talent sourcing to leadership development.

Do you have any future plans that you would like to realise & what are they (career & social)?
I would like to setup another few branches around Asia! Next month I am travelling to the UK to attend a wedding of my fellow batch mate Bruno Clarke- can't wait to catch up with old NYC friends.
